Frockin' Fabulous Events

Well Frockettes and Frockerfellas, here at Frocktober Canberra, things are kicking into high gear as we prepare for the capital to enjoy some frock therapy!  The events planning team (coincidentally made of the same people who make up the committee :) ) have been working overtime and come up with some brilliant events to raise money for the OCRF over the next month.

Kicking off with our launch at King O'Malleys on the 1st of October, you'll be able to enjoy a month of Frock Fridays hosted by some of Canberra's best venues.  Stay tuned for more details each week.

On the 7th, we're holding "An Evening Frocktacular", a fashion parade hosted by our friends at Thoroughbred Park.  It's the Spring Racing Carnival so the time is now to see some of Canberra's hottest designers and spring fashions.  Need some idea for Fashions on the Field?  This is the place to do it!

On the 20th, it's time to grab your girlfriends and head to the movies.  We're screening "Eat Pray Love" at Hoyts Belconnen.  Price includes your entry to the film, a voucher for the candy bar and a donation for Frocktober! Get in quick, these are going quickly already.

Finally on the 31st, it's time to kick up our (no doubt fabulous) heels and celebrate the success of  Canberra’s first ever Frocktober with a Sunday afternoon party-in-the-sun at Flint Dining Room and Bar. Wear your most fabulous frock (prizes for best dressed) and be prepared to bid on some amazing auction items. Tickets include canapés, beverages and stacks of entertainment.
