Frock or Not?

So given the fact that we'll be awarding prizes for best frock at each of our Frock Fridays with amazing prizes from King O'Malleys, Carmen Steffens, Fernwood Canberra City and many many more, we thought it was a good time to focus on what exactly is a frock?

Like any modern individual, we did our research (after all, Wikipedia is never wrong, right?) and found the following:

1. A coarse robe worn by priests, monks or clerics;
2. A long loose garment worn by peasants and artisans
3. A woolen garment formerly worn by sailors

Not exactly screaming spring to us!

Hmmm, we don't know about the rest of you Frockettes and Frockerfellas but none of this is rocking our incredibly fashionable boats! 

Here at Frocktober Canberra, we're going with the modern definition of Frock: a one piece dress or bodice attached to skirt!  We're looking for the flirtiest, most fabulous, fashionable examples of how Canberra's Fashonistas can Rock a Frock!  Vintage, Race Wear, Office, Cocktail, Evening - What is your favourite frock?   We can't wait to see them!
