Final Frocktober Ambassadors Announced

Frocktober Canberra is very proud to announce that ACT Senator Kate Lundy, Danielle Post of Win News and Gai Brodtmann, Member for Canberra have joined Senator Gary Humphries as Ambassadors in 2010.

Continuing a strong history of supporting community initiatives and great causes, Senators Lundy and Humphries, Gai Brodtmann and Danielle Post have joined forces to raise awareness of women’s health and the need for continuing research into the causes and early diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

With Frocktober Canberra having already raised over $3,400 for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation in support of Frocktober, our Ambassadors will continue to promote the key messages of the month:

Increasing the public’s awareness of Ovarian Cancer;
Promoting women’s health and wellbeing;
Celebrating the diversity of shapes, sizes and colours that women come in.

Frocktober Canberra looks forward to working with our Ambassadors throughout Frocktober at our many events. Our Ambassadors will be on hand to judge Best Frock at our official launch party this Friday at King O’Malleys in the city from 6.30.
